Miscellany

I haven't blogged in ALL day!  That is not a good idea, because now I have a plethora of thoughts running through my brain with no form or fashion.  Lucky you - ha!

First off, I have been plagued with indecision about the structure of our blog.  I keep changing it.  I really thought I had it to where I wanted it, but I didn't.  So, my apologies for the flip flopping and the inability to commit.

Next, we really need to go to the grocery store!  We had good intentions Sunday evening.  We went out to a nearby town to pick up an item my husband purchased.  Our plan was to pick that up and head over to HEB afterwards.  We drove for at least 30 minutes before Ronnie all of a sudden laughed out loud.  "What's so funny?"  My husband with the light bulb over his head says, "How are we going to buy groceries when the truck is packed to the max?"

We had planned so well.  Ronnie packed both my Rav 4 and his Jeep with boxes to take to our future home town on Monday.  There really was no room for groceries.  A part of me was doing the happy dance because I really don't like to go to the grocery store.  Another part of me was sad, though, because I really wanted to eat the next week.

Anyway, we did have room for a couple of bags so we bought veggies and pumpkin puree.  And today we present the Veggie Morning Drink.

We try to have a Veggie Drink every day.  Look at how fresh and nourishing the kale, spinach, cucumber and blueberries look.  We also put some strawberries in.  Ronnie added tomatoes and a jalapeno to his--seeds and everything.  Brave guy.  I know it doesn't look too tasty, but it really is.  I hope and pray it is doing good things for my body even though I haven't cut out all the bad stuff.

Progress, not perfection.

Do you think you would ever try a green drink like this?  If so, what favorite veggies and fruits  would you include?

Until tomorrow...Cheers!  Oops, get that piece of spinich out of your teeth before you go....
